This is where it gets crazy. My flight was scheduled for Friday morning, the day before the wedding. I wake up at 3 am to make sure that I can get to my 6 am flight on time at Hartsfield Jackson Airport in Atlanta. The alarm rang and the first thing I noticed was an email notifying me that my flight has been canceled due to bad weather. I immediately call my airline and was placed on hold for an hour and a half before being able to talk to someone. The next flight was at 11 pm on the same day. That means I would arrive in Philadelphia at 2 am, still have to pick up my rental car, and drive 2 hours to my hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 4:30 am, slept for 2 hours, then headed out to shoot the all-day coverage wedding at Historic Acres of Hershey.
Even though my schedule was crazy, Mary and Daniel were extremely hospitable and took very good care of me. I got a chance to listen to their love story. Found out that Daniel’s mom was a patient at Mary’s clinic. Daniel’s mom told me that she begged Mary to go on a date with her son. Daniel added her on social media and asked her on a date.
